Flavour
The dry leaves of Zhuyeqing are a vibrant, glossy green with a fresh, lustrous sheen. The aroma opens with the delicate scent of young buds, followed by a gentle chestnut note and a soft hint of orchid.
The liquor is clear and light green. The taste is clean, sweet, and refreshing, with a bright and lively character. The aftertaste is long-lasting, leaving a smooth sweetness and a persistent sense of huigan, the returning sweetness that lingers in the throat. As its name suggests, the tea’s aroma and flavor are pure and uplifting. Each sip evokes a quiet sense of elegance, like meditating in a peaceful bamboo courtyard on Mount E’mei.
