Flavour

This Shoumei offers a layered aromatic profile. The fragrance begins with fresh grassy notes, followed by a gentle licorice-like sweetness, and finishes with soft floral honey and subtle woody tones.

The liquor is a clear, pale yellow. On the palate, the tea is smooth and lightly sweet, with a clean, refreshing mouthfeel and a subtle cooling sensation—reminiscent of fresh grass after rain. As the session continues, the flavor becomes rounder and more mellow, with grassy notes gradually giving way to floral honey and a warm, woody depth.

A comforting, balanced white tea with a gentle transformation in taste and aroma—ideal for those who enjoy clarity, calmness, and a naturally evolving cup.

Brewing Recommendation

Single Cup
1. Rinse the cup with hot water.
2. Add 8 grams of tea into a 200ml glass cup.
3. Pour boiling water (95-100°C) to fill about one-third of the cup. Rinse the leaves briefly, then discard the rinse water.
4. Refill with hot water until it reaches about 1cm below the rim. Let steep for 3-5 minutes before drinking.
5. The tea can be re-infused once, with a slightly longer steeping time.
