Flavour
This Silver Needle is made exclusively from tender buds covered in dense white hairs, giving the dry leaves a silvery, downy appearance and a clean, fresh aroma.
Once brewed, the aroma unfolds in layers—starting with the delicate scent of tea fuzz, followed by soft white rose notes and a refreshing bamboo-leaf finish. The liquor is a pale apricot yellow, bright and luminous, with suspended white hairs creating a subtle shimmer.
The mouthfeel is smooth and rounded, with a silky, almost creamy texture. The flavor opens full and sweet, carrying gentle strength and clarity, then transitions into a light, crisp finish with lingering floral sweetness. A refined and expressive white tea that captures the gentle energy of spring in both taste and aroma.
Brewing Recommendation
Single Cup
1. Rinse the cup with hot water.
2. Add 5g of tea to a 200ml glass.
3. Pour boiling water (90-95°C) to fill about one-third of the cup. Rinse the leaves briefly, then discard the rinse water.
4. Refill with hot water until it reaches about 1cm below the rim. Let steep for 3-5 minutes before drinking.
5. The tea can be re-infused once, with a slightly longer steeping time.
