Flavour
Mengding Huangya opens with a grain-like aroma akin to fresh corn, transitions into a sweet maltiness at the mid-palate, and finishes with a smooth, honeyed floral note. The dry buds are full and sturdy, their brownish-yellow hue reminiscent of autumn leaves piled in a mountain forest. When infused, the liquor is tender yellow and luminous, gleaming like the afterglow on verdant peaks. Sipping slowly, the gentle grain notes bring a soothing warmth to the mouth—like a beam of sunlight breaking through winter clouds. As the session progresses, the enduring aftertaste lingers like the melodious notes of a harmonica, revealing the tea’s unique and captivating charm.
