Flavour
Mowo First-Grade Black Tea opens with an enveloping amber-hued caramel warmth in the top notes, gradually unfolding midway into lychee-like tropical fruit sweetness, akin to crystalline nectar peeled open under blazing sun, before settling in the finish to the deep, enduring richness of malt sugar. The dry leaves are lustrous dark with golden tips, resembling flecks of molten gold scattered in twilight's glow. Once infused, the liquor shines a vivid red, like molten glass with halos shifting as if sunset saturates the sea of clouds. On entry, it is bold, full, and enveloping; the sweet aromas sweep the palate like a tropical warm breeze, gathering intensely in the mouth without dispersing, much like evening bells resonating through a deep valley. The lingering finish layers outward in waves, evoking amber syrup entwined with ripe fruit honey, unfurling in the throat a vivid, richly inked scroll of Yunnan's landscapes.
