Flavour
Yigong Tibetan Dark Tea releases a rare and treasured opening aroma—"medicinal fragrance"—a intricate herbal bouquet evoking dried roots, chrysanthemum, and licorice-like sweet herbs, underpinned by a soothing earthy undertone. Toward the close, it gradually unveils bread-like grain sweetness and lingering honey traces at the cup's base. The taste is steady and multi-layered, with flavors rippling outward like concentric waves, enabling the drinker to explore the "motion" of all things amid the "stillness" of the palate.
Brewing Recommendation
Single Cup
1. Rinse the cup with hot water.
2. Add 3g of tea to a 300ml glass.
3. Pour boiling water (100°C) to fill about one-third of the cup. Rinse the leaves briefly, then discard the rinse water.
4. Refill with hot water until it reaches about 1cm below the rim. Let steep for 1-2 minutes before drinking.
5. Re-steeped once, with a slightly longer infusion time.
