Flavour

Yunnan Shou Mei offers a clean and gentle flavor profile, with a light floral aroma and subtle fruity notes. The first sip reveals soft hints of honey and fresh grass. As the infusion develops, delicate notes of bean-like sweetness and faint woody undertones emerge.

The mouthfeel is smooth and balanced, with a moderate returning sweetness. While the overall flavor is simple, it reveals quiet layers and a soothing character—well-suited for those who enjoy a soft, mellow cup. Ideal for everyday drinking.

Brewing Recommendation

Single Cup
1. Rinse the cup with hot water.
2. Add 8 grams of tea into a 300ml glass cup.
3. Pour boiling water (95-100°C) to fill about one-third of the cup. Rinse the leaves briefly, then discard the rinse water.
4. Refill with hot water until it reaches about 1cm below the rim. Let steep for 3-5 minutes before drinking.
5. The tea can be re-infused once, with a slightly longer steeping time.
